love it April 12, 2009 Carl Stevenson (Idaho, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The router has become the favorite tool in my shop- I find myself using it more and more with every new project
Great deal January 27, 2009 John Galt (Atlanta, GA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for occassional use on woodworking hobby projects. After researching new routers, I found the price on this too good to pass up. It arrived much faster than I expected it to, in great condition. I can't even tell if it was used even once. All parts were included, as was the manual.
Does the job March 30, 2009 Kathy M. Taylor (Monroe , WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Does the job well. The item was shipped in a timely manner, no complaints, would do it again.
Skill Router 1825-RT April 3, 2009 F. Long (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first router I received was defective. The plunge base would hang up and the motor wouldn't rev up to its designed RPM. The unit was obviously not reconditioned as advertised. I received a replacement a week later and the unit works great.
Wonderful Value June 2, 2010 B. Kalish I got this when my sister got me a set of router bits. Since then I've used it to rout inset hand prints and free hand lettering into an oak picture frame, do edge finishing on the same project, and to cut dadoes and rabits into pine and finish edges for a knotty pine toy chest. No matter the material, it has worked great. I was unable to see any difference in quality between this reconditioned router and a new one. I only regret that I haven't had an opportunity to use the plunge base- generally the fixed base has been most in line with the type of work that I have been doing. Although table like results are doable with a good strait edge and jig set-up, I recommend getting a table to aid with any advanced furniture type work you may want to do. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good entry level router.
